Beth Frenette

Vice President, Cash Management & Municipal Services

Beth Frenette is vice president, cash management and municipal services.  Beth has been an employee of Washington Trust for more than 37 years, working on the cash management team for 18 years and with the municipal sector for more than 11 years.  She is responsible for business development of the municipal and government sectors.  Beth is an active member of the Rhode Island Government Finance Officers Association and the New England States Government Finance Officers Association as well as the Rhode Island Tax Collectors Association.  She is a former chairwoman of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce and served on the board overall for 12 years.  Beth is also the Parade Chairwoman for the Westerly Pawcatuck Columbus Day Parade.  In 2004, she received the Spirit of Washington Trust Award, which recognizes outstanding employees, who, by example or through contributions, have clearly distinguished themselves as role models for others.  In 2015, Beth was awarded the Washington Trust Community Service Award which recognizes her involvement in the community. In 2021 Beth received the Key Award from the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce.
