An Online Statement is your account statement, accessible through Online Banking and made available as a PDF Document. Notification of statement availability is provided by email using the email address on file for your Online Banking access. The statement document is identical to the statement received through postal mail.
- New Business Online Banking Customers: Sign up for Online Banking at www.washtrust.com, select the LOGIN button and choose the option for Business under the Not yet enrolled? Create an account today! section and follow the prompts to create your profile. Select the Online Statements tab within the primary navigation menu, under Other Services. Please review the disclosure presented, confirm the verification code and select “I Agree” to proceed. All accounts available for delivery as an Online Statement will be listed. We have pre-selected eStatement delivery for you.
- Existing Business Deposit Account eStatement Customers: Your loan accounts are automatically available for electronic statement viewing.
- Existing Business Online Banking Customers without electronic Deposit Account Statements: Select the Online Statements tab within the primary navigation menu, under Other Services. Please review the disclosure presented, confirm the verification code and select “I Agree” to proceed. All accounts available for delivery as an Online Statement will be listed. We have pre-selected eStatement delivery for you.
Agreeing to eStatements will discontinue your paper statements for loan accounts. You may request to receive paper statements, along with the eStatement, for loan accounts only by visiting a local branch or contacting our Customer Solutions Center at 800-475-2265 or 401-348-1200.

To access Online Statements, you must have access to Online Banking and accept the eStatement Disclosure. To view eStatements, you must have a supported browser and a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Washington Trust supports Checking, Savings and Loan Statements (including Escrow Analysis) via Online Banking. Certificate of Deposits are not available in statement format.
When a new account is opened, once that account is linked to the customer profile in Online Banking, the eStatement will automatically be linked to your Online eStatement. You can have the account linked by visiting a branch location or contacting our Customer Solutions Center by dialing 800-475-2265 or 401-348-1200.

To update your email address for Online Banking only, log into Online Banking, go to the menu screen on the left-hand side, click on the plus (+) sign next to your name and then click on profile maintenance. You can update your e-mail address and then click submit.
All statements created since Washington Trust began eStatement delivery will be available in Business Online Banking. All historic eStatements will be available for view regardless of when you elected eStatements.
Yes. Your Annual Escrow Analysis Statement, if applicable, will also be available if you selected eStatements for your loan account.
Loan statements can be viewed approximately 2 weeks prior to the loan payment due date.
Within online banking, statements will be displayed in chronological order with the title of the document being the date it was added to Business Online Banking. Escrow Account Analysis Statements will be posted on or around October 1st of each year.
Yes. If you select eStatements for your loans, you may receive paper statements in certain circumstances. For example: Corrected Bill, Final Loan Bill, or any other manually created/edited loan statement will be mailed to you via USPS.
