An Online Statement is a PDF document of your account statement, that is accessible through Online Banking.

At this time, Washington Trust supports access to one statement type; either Online Statement or paper statement. If you have elected to receive Online Statements and need a printed statement copy, you may print a statement from your personal computer and printer. As the document is a PDF, you may also save a copy of your statement to a secure file location on your computer.

Simply click on "Online Statements" Once you have reviewed the disclosure, click the "eSign document" link to obtain a code. Enter the code on the screen and click ‘I Agree’.

In order to view your statement online, you must waive the mailing of your paper statement.

All deposit accounts with an available statement will be listed. Simply select the e-Statement radio button associated with the statement you would like to view. Accounts listed with ‘Paper Statement’ radio button will continue to be received as a paper statement.

To access Online Statements you must have a supported browser and a current version of Adobe Acrobat reader. To download a current version of Adobe, please click the ‘Get Adobe Reader’ link within the Online Statements page. Statements for Checking, Savings and Money Market accounts are available online. Loan statements are available in a paper format only.

Currently, Online Statement history is available for two years within Online Banking. For statements older than two years, please visit a branch location or contact our Customer Solutions Center for assistance by dialing 800-475-2265 or 401-348-1200. Fees may apply depending on the number of statement copies requested.

If you no longer wish to receive a specific Online Statement, you may return to paper statements by clicking on the "Settings" link and selecting "Manage My Settings". Click the Paper Statement radio button associated with the account and click "Submit".

Access the Online Statement Settings menu to change the statement delivery option. Click e-Statement radio button associated with your new account and click Submit. Your selection will be effective as of the next statement end date.

Closed accounts do not appear in your ‘Accounts’ menu within Online Banking, however you will be able to view 24 months of statement history.

Select the "My Settings" menu at the top right corner of the online banking screen to submit your updated email address. Your change will be effective after you view any Online Statement.

You will receive an email notification that your statement is ready for viewing.
