Jeremy Canestri

Vice President, Cash Management

Jeremy is responsible for the growth and retention of the Bank’s commercial and municipal cash management portfolio throughout the Bank’s Connecticut and Rhode Island market areas. Jeremy has more than 16 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in cash management operations for more than ten years of his career. He has specific experience in product development and oversight. Prior to joining Washington Trust, Jeremy served as a Product Manager, where he was responsible for Cash Management receivables products and services in the Treasury and Payment Solutions area (part of the commercial banking division) at Webster Bank, N.A.

Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. A Connecticut resident, Jeremy is actively involved in his community, serving as an active volunteer and supporter of Habitat for Humanity as well as the local United Way. He also previously served as a mentor with the Guilford Public School system for many years.
