Lisa Gencarelli is a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Washington Trust’s Westerly, R.I. office and a seasoned mortgage professional with extensive experience supporting homebuyers throughout the lending process. She works closely with homebuyers, real estate professionals, and referral partners to manage loan pipelines, prepare pre‑approvals, and guide customers from application through closing. Lisa is particularly experienced in evaluating self‑employed and rental income, construction loans, and complex borrower scenarios, ensuring each client receives clear guidance and attentive service.  She values long‑term relationships and takes pride in helping clients navigate important financial decisions with confidence.

Lisa studied Liberal Arts and Business at the University of Charleston and earned an Associate of Science in Therapeutic Massage from the National Holistic Institute. She is an active member of the Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors and has served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Eastern Connecticut and the Connecticut River Region, where she was named Associate of the Year in 2022.
