Washington Trust Wealth Management Hires Senior Wealth Advisor to Serve Rhode Island Market

The Washington Trust Company is pleased to announce that Palmira G. Azevedo, CFP® has joined the Bank’s Wealth Management division as Vice President, Senior Wealth Advisor. In her role with Washington Trust Wealth Management, she will manage of the portfolios of institutional clients and individuals and families to help them efficiently meet their goals through a combination of investment, estate, insurance, and tax planning services and advice. Palmira is based out of the company’s Providence, Rhode Island office.

Palmira brings more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management and financial planning fields. Most recently, she held the position of private wealth advisor at Capital Wealth Management.

A Rhode Island resident, Palmira is an active member of her community and is a current member of the Estate Planning Council of Rhode Island. She is also a regular volunteer with the Dare to Dream Ranch and is an avid supporter of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Ocean State and the Kripalu Center of Yoga and Health.

Palmira is a CFP® practitioner and holds a series 7 license. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University and is a graduate of the Trust School at Cannon Financial Institute.
